SHOWCASED ARTIST

The Showcase Gallery exhibits fractal art created with Ultra Fractal. Each time, it focuses on a single fractal artist, showcasing a small selections of their recent work, together with a short biography.

Each image is accompanied by a descriptive text that tells something about how it was created and which techniques were used.
FEATURED ARTIST & GROUP EXHIBITION
Nature in Art Museum, Twigworth, Gloucestershire
20th March - 15th April 2007

The key feature of the exhibition was to tie in fractal art to the various fractal forms seen in nature. In addition to the art exhibition, which ran for four weeks, a well attended evening event was organised at which Tina Joyce gave a lecture introducing the concept of fractals in nature and fractal art, which was received with great interest and enthuisiasm by the guests who attended.
FRACTAL ART CONTEST & GROUP EXHIBITION
Centro Cultural Conde Duque, Madrid, Spain, August 2006

The International Congress of Mathematics (ICM) holds a global conference every four years which, in 2006 was held in Madrid.

To commemorate the event and as a tribute to Benoit Mandelbrot, a Fractal Art exhibition took place at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque and at the congress site. It exhibited works by fractal artists from all over world, selected by competition.

SOLO EXHIBITION & WORKSHOPS
Arts in Motion, Kent, UK, 7th - 20th January 2006

A touring exhibition with educational workshops on board Kent County Council's Arts Bus as part of their "Arts in Motion" project. Seventeen prints of my fractal art work were chosen to go on display in this echibition, which included workshops designed to give visitors an introduction to the concept of fractal art, together with some hands on experience using Ultra Fractal software.
